Horses have been a part and parcel of manor life. The history of Sagadi Manor goes back for more than 500 years. It is one of the most completely restored manor complexes in Estonia. Today Sagadi Manor has become a well-known tourist spot.
The trip begins in the morning from Kuusekännu Riding Farm. After a two-hour ride we reach Palmse, to the heart of Lahemaa National Park. Here is situated a well-known manor in Estonia – Palmse. Here we are going to have our first lunch. You can have lunch either in the restaurant in Park-Hotel Palmse or enjoy a substantial picnic in the manor park near the paddock of our horses. The choice depends on the time of the year or weather conditions. After lunch there is a possibility for everybody to have a closer look at the manor. We ride about another three hours to reach Sagadi manor.
For accommodation we have twin rooms (single or double rooms available by request) in a small but modern hotel in a Sagadi manor. Dinner is offered in the Sagadi hotel restaurant.
In the morning after breakfast there is enough time to get acquainted with the manor's history and visit an interesting exhibition of old horse vehicles, tools and forestry machinery. We saddle the horses and ride from Sagadi to Viitna in about two hours. In Viitna there is a typical Estonian 19th century tavern that is famous for the delicious food and its house speciality, the pear pie. Naturally we take the chance to enjoy lunch in Viitna Tavern. Before arriving home we ride through the Viitna Landscape Reserve area. There are also two lakes in Viitna, nice pine forest and drumlins were formed by a retreating glacier sheet about 11, 500 years ago.

The price includes:
*1st day - lunch in Palmse, accommodation in Sagadi Hotel in twin or double rooms with all conveniences (single rooms available by request for 300 EEK=20 EUR extra), dinner in Sagadi Hotel Restaurant and horseback riding about 5 hours.
*2nd day - breakfast in Sagadi, lunch in Viitna Tavern restaurant and horseback riding about 3,5 hours.
