The duration of the trip is 3 days and 2 nights

During the three wonderful days in the beautiful surroundings of Lahemaa National Park we spend the first night in Käsmu and the second night in Sagadi or Altja.

On the first day we ride 3,5 hours through tiny North-Estonian villages following the tracks that are ideal for horse-riding.We reach Eru Bay, where we have a substantial picnic on the beach. After that we ride 1,5 hours across Käsmu Peninsula before we reach coastal village Käsmu. We shall have dinner and spend the night in the nice and cosy Guesthouse Rannamännid in twin rooms (single or double rooms available by request) with bathrooms. It is possible to have sauna during the night (total 500 EEK to be shared). You can go for swimming to the sea nearby, take a walk or visit a small village shop.

On the second day we come to Altja fishing village after a three-hour-ride and have traditional lunch in Altja Tavern. After the lunch we can choose weather to stay overnight in Altja or ride to Sagadi manor and stay there . It takes about two hours. For accommodation in Sagadi we have twin or double rooms with all conveniences (single rooms available at request) in a small but modern hotel in a Sagadi manor. Dinner is offered in the restaurant of Sagadi hotel.

In the morning of third day there is enough time to get acquainted with the manor's history and visit an interesting exhibition of old horse vehicles, tools and forestry machinery. We saddle the horses and ride from Sagadi in about two hours to Palmse Manor, where we have the last lunch of our ride in Palmse Park hotel restaurant. We reach home after about two hours.

Decided to stay in Altja village we spend the night in Toomarahva Tourist Farm. The house is over a hundred years old. It is a typical North-Estonian fishermans dwelling house. Accommodation will be in an old storehouse which has been refurbished for tourists. From there opens a nice view on the sea. A sandy beach is in a mile’s distance from Toomarahva. The day will end in a good Estonian sauna and enjoying a traditional dinner made by the mistress of the farm.

In the morning after breakfast we saddle the horses and take about a two-hour ride to Sagadi village and have a look at the picturesque Sagadi manor complex. A ride from Sagadi to Palmse takes about two hours. We are going to have the last lunch of our ride in the restaurant of Park-Hotel Palmse. We reach home after about two hours.
